A rich and creamy garlic shrimp dish that comes together in just 15 minutes. Perfect for weeknights, dinner parties, or a cozy meal at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: ¼ cup chicken or seafood stock

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Pat shrimp dry and set aside.

  • Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.

  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

  • Stir in Parmesan and let sauce thicken, 2–3 minutes.

  • Season with salt and pepper. Add stock if needed to thin.

  • Return shrimp to skillet and simmer for 1 more minute.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes for spice.

  • Stir in spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.

  • Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.

  • Store leftovers in fridge for up to 2 days.
