Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on or skinless)

  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp olive oil (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or lightly oil.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic, and olive oil.

  • Pat salmon fillets dry. Place on the baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.

  • Brush or spoon the glaze evenly over each fillet.

  • Let sit for 10–15 minutes at room temperature.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until salmon is flaky and cooked through.

  • Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for extra caramelization.

  • Squeeze lemon juice over the top before serving.

Notes

  • For gluten-free, substitute soy sauce with tamari.

  • Try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.

  • Pairs well with quinoa, roasted vegetables, or a citrus salad.

  • Store leftovers up to 3 days in an airtight container.
