Succulent shrimp and crab in a creamy Cajun sauce served over pasta for a rich, flavorful, and indulgent meal. A perfect combination of seafood and spice.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • 1 cup lump crab meat

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 shallot (minced)

  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

  • ½ cup parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Add shrimp and cook until pink, then set aside.

  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic and shallots. Add Cajun spices and deglaze with white wine.

  • Add cream, broth, lemon juice, and zest. Simmer until sauce thickens.

  • Add shrimp and crab back to the pan. Toss with pasta.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and parmesan.

Notes

Adjust spice levels to your preference. For a richer sauce, add a splash of cream cheese or more heavy cream.
